0 Magazine Empire

Some of you may collect magazines, perhaps you collect film mags. Film magazines can be packed with informative features and are a great compannion to the movie collection you might own.Now Empire Magazine is a magazine you may be fammiler with.
empire magazine Pictures, Images and Photos
It's a great magazine that is packed with film news, previews and reviews, plenty of scenes from films (in photo form, they might not fit in otherwise, specially not Marshmellow Man Ghostbuster scenes), interviews and behind the scenes articles. That's not even mentioning the many other articles they have and the free gifts they often give us. I'm a big fan of the mag myself (especially the Kim Newman's Dungeon feature) and have been an avid reader for quite a lot of years now. You may well see the mag in shops (sometimes bundeled with FHM, we might get on to that one another day), it has a cover price of £3.99, although when it comes with a freebie the price usually increases, to around £4.99 mostly. Yes, that does mean that you could say the magazine is technicly not giving freebies for free if the cover price increases when they are added, but that's like most if not all magazines do and you could say the prize doesn't increase by what the freebies actual value is. Their great freebies too, often a giant poster (love the giant posters) or a book of a film adaptation (you see, that book would of no doubt cost a lot more if it wasn't being brought 'free' with the magazine. Yes so I think it's a great mag and would recommend it to film fans.
It's defintley one worth subscribing too if your intreasted in recieving it reguley with it's cost for a years subscription at £40. As well as a freebie (yes, I think it is really free) with your subscription which is often a DVD or a video game, you get the issues delievered to your door (hopefully not someone else's) and a discount on the cover price. Not only that, Empire do that great thing that SFX do with their subscribers issues and do an exclusive cover that has none of it's orignel front cover text and instead a full image of the cover star in question. A great film magazine then, you can check out their website for more information on subscriptions as well as other intereasting features. Their URL is:

Hello their and welcome to Blogged On Stuff. First up a quick intro to the blog then comes the first feature post.
The idea of Blogged On Stuff is literly that a blog about stuff, the stuff in question anything from DVD's to trading cards to figures of elephants dancing(yes their are some). In other words anything that can be collected. The idea is also to have a blog about stuff you may be intreasted to collect where like the other Blogged On...... blogs, it has many classic features such as previews, reviews and news and then every so often a different kind of feature will appear. One last thing, the blog will be about both old and new items too, so one post we called be looking at a James Bond toy car from the 70's then next we could be looking at the latest issue of Justice League.
OK, so I hope you enjoy the blog and remember you can submit content to me that you would like to see on this blog, maybe you would like to show one of your collections for example.
Oh yeah and their will be some competitions appearing so you can have a chance to add to your collections free.
